.A.S.A. Trnava is a typical example of a 50/50 joint venture between .A.S.A. International Environmental Services GmbH and the City of Trnava.
.A.S.A. Trnava has on average 125 – 150 employees providing its services, particularly the collection, transport and disposal of other, also hazardous waste for the towns, villages and businesses. The service area covers almost 170.000 inhabitans. With regard to the priority rank of waste recycling and appreciation, for several years the company has been processing biologically degradable waste in its own composting plant with a capacity of 1500 t of finished compost a year.
Along with the core business, the company also deals with reccycling and appreciation of various kinds of waste – secondary materials (paper, PET bottles, HDPE packaging, plastic foils, glass and beverage cans) by means of final sorting and pressing. The company also operates collection yards for troublesome household waste. Important additional services include the summer street cleaning and winter services as well as with upkeep of public or corporate greenery.
