Alternative fuel production (RDF)

.A.S.A. produces refuse-derived fuels (RDF) from selected types of waste in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Mostly commercial and plastic wastes are the basic materials used for producing the RDFs, which are going to industrial factories such as cement kilns, lime production plants or power stations. If we take the average energy content of RDF produced by .A.S.A., the result of a simplified calculation shows that with 1 ton of our RDF it is possible to save approx. 600 kilograms of heating oil or more than 800 kilograms of stone coal.
