Treatment
Each day, households and companies produce large quantities of waste. Through sorting and treatment, waste can be further processed into reusable materials (secondary raw materials). .A.S.A. has invested in the development of innovative systems and the building and extension of suitable recycling plants and other treatment facilities.
The collected waste is sorted either manually in sorting plants or automatically in modern splitting lines. The fractions sorted in this way are pressed into bales and directed to reuse or further treatment (mechanical-biological waste treatment, thermal waste treatment,..).
.A.S.A. invested in the establishment of an incineration plant (thermal waste treatment) in Zistersdorf (A), a plant for thermal utilization of waste and sewage sludge.
The composting plants in Trnava (SK) or Debrecen (HU) for example and the alternative fuel treatment plants in Gyál(HU), Prague (CZ), Brno (CZ) or Wiener Neustadt (A) among others turn waste back into materials that may be used again in industry.
