    • .A.S.A. was put up for international sale and acquired by FCC (FOMENTO DE CONSTRUCCIONES Y CONTRATAS, S.A.), a stock-exchange listed construction and service group from Spain

    • Immediately after the official takeover of .A.S.A. by FCC the decision to erect the first waste-to-energy-plant in Zistersdorf/Austria is done
    • Besides a number of different acquisitions the market penetration in Poland is pushed by the acquisition of the company Zarbze
    • Group revenues increased by organic growth and acquisitions to 226 Mill. Euro
  • 2007
    • .A.S.A. countinues in growing: mainly by organic growth turnover goes up to 275 Mill. Euro, representing 22 % growth-rate   

    • The construction works at the incinerator in Zistersdorf/Austria started and developed according to plan
    • .A.S.A. increased its territory by the countries Lithuania and Serbia, in which operatonal companies were founded
  • 2008
    • In June 2008 .A.S.A. concluded a deal of acquiring 100% of “Scheele Bulgaria EOOD”, one of the biggest waste management companies in Bulgaria
    • .A.S.A. is 20 years old. The company was founded in December 1988 in Vienna
    • As in the previous years .A.S.A. showed a solid growth in 2008: Revenues increased by 12 % from 275 to 308 Mill. Euro out of which 211 million came from .A.S.A. International
  • 2009
    • 2009 is the year with the best turnover-development in ASA’s history: revenues increased by 2 % from 308 to 313 Mil. Euro, of which 212 million came from .A.S.A. International
    • On May 14th, the new incinerator was opened in Zistersdorf (AT). The Zistersdorf’s incinerator has capacity of 130 000 tpy of domestic and similar waste and produces electrical energy
    • Since November 1st, the Management of the .A.S.A. Group has been working within a new format: Petr Vokřál (CEO), Björn Mittendorfer, Arnošt Kastner, Wolfgang Leitner and Jakub Kožnárek
    • .A.S.A. Scheele EOOD is renamed to .A.S.A. Bulgaria EOOD 
  • 2010
    • The year 2010 set a new record for .A.S.A. regarding results. In comparison with 2009, the revenues increased by 14% to 356 million EUR. The company did not only exceed the very successful year 2009, but also exceeded the company´s planned targets by 10%.This success was achieved mainly owing to .A.S.A. Czech republic, which experienced the largest year-on-year increase, and also thanks to the efforts of more than 4.400 employees in 9 countries.
    • The brand .A.S.A. won the title of Business Superbrand in 2010 for the third time during the last three years.
    • .A.S.A. Servicii Ecologice S.R.L. received the First Place Award for activities in the field of waste management and the Trophy of Excellence for presence in the first three places at the top over the past five years.
  • 2011
    • Despite the crisis .A.S.A. continues in its growth. Almost 4.500 employees contributed to the revenues of 377 M€ in the year 2011. This excellent result was mostly due to the Czech Republic. With a sales contribution of 44% .A.S.A.’s biggest market surpassed last year’s performance by 10%. Moreover, the growth rates about 40% in our emerging markets Bulgaria and Serbia are particularly encouraging.

    • .A.S.A. Graz received the ÖKOPROFIT Award.
